Photos from last week:
Adding action lines and speech bubbles to make our characters come to life.
Using spoons as a visual to remember to "scoop" up words while reading to make our reading smooth.
Practicing partners of numbers with two sided counters.
Comparing two names/words to see what is similar.
Sharing our family pictures for social studies.
Using teamwork, our positivity project trait of the week, to form shapes and letters with our bodies.
We can retell Mrs. Wishy Washy!
Comparing our family pictures to notice what is the same/different.
#OtherPeopleMatter Day giving back to the Oakland County Animal Shelter. We had a guest speaker, Joanie Toole and a furry friend, Spirit, teach us about the shelter. We created adoption posters for animals who are up for adoption which we will hang in pet stores near the area. We also made treats for the shelter dogs!
