Webber Student Council Invites You to Help Honor America’s Veterans! On Wednesday, November 8th, we will be raising money for GI Go Fund and America’s VetDogs. Students that donate $1 or more can wear a hat to school on this day. Staff members that donate $5 or more get to wear jeans to work. The photos below show friends working on a math exemplar. This is a math challenge that requires higher level thinking. I read students the story problem below and got them started and they then worked in small groups to figure out the answer. They proved their answer with drawings and explained their thinking in front of the class.

Frog and Toad want to plant a garden. They have 5 tomato plants, 6 pepper plants, 7 onion plants, and 6 corn plants. there is only room for 6 plants in each row. how many rows will Frog and Toad need in the garden?
