News for 10/28

News from Ms. Rau 
  • Deck of Cards Donation - Please donate a deck of cards to use as math games for fast finishers, thank you!
  • Monday Mac & Cheese MADNESS! - On Monday, October 28th, students can bring in boxes of macaroni and cheese to be donated to Lighthouse of Oakland County. The grade level that donates the most boxes of macaroni and cheese will be awarded with music at lunch, along with an additional grade level recess. 
  • Raz Kids - I have uploaded our class onto my raz-kids account. You can access raz-kids through their website or app as another form of reading practice

    • begin using detective word notebooks to jot down unusual words in their reading

    News for 10/21

    News from Ms. Rau

    • Halloween Celebration - Our Halloween party will be from 8:30-9:30am on Thursday, October 31st. Students should wear there costumes to school. The school wide parade is at 9:45 am. Please check out our sign up for Halloween Celebration Donations . If you are not already volunteering for an assigned center (curriculum night sign up), but would like to attend our Halloween party and volunteer as an assistant to help a game, craft, or snack please let me know by the end of this week. I have to send all volunteer names to Mrs. Goethals by Friday. Thank you!

    News for 10/7


    Notes from Ms. Rau 



    • Rockin’ the Decades- The 2019 Lake Orion Homecoming Parade will be on Sunday, October 6th at 3:30 P.M. in downtown Lake Orion. They will begin lining up at about 2:45 P.M. All students from Webber are invited to walk in the parade with an adult. The theme this year is Rocking the Decades, so feel free to dress up if you would like. 
    • Spirit Week 10/7-10/11
      • Monday- Music Monday-Wear music inspired clothing (instrument on a shirt or a band name)
      • Tuesday- PJ Dance Party-Wear your pajamas to school (be sure to bring appropriate shoes for PE and recess.) There will be music played at lunch.
      • Wednesday- Decade Day-Honor the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s by dressing in clothing that represents that decade.
      • Thursday- Rock Your Favorite… Day- Wear clothing that represents your favorite sport, college, or color.
      • Friday- Rockin’ Lake Orion Gear-Wear Lake Orion or Webber gear or dress in green and white.
