Farewell Poem

Dear Parents,

It was a great pleasure to have your child in my classroom this year. We learned so many things and progressed in so many ways since September. As this school year comes to a close, I now return your child to you, the same child that you entrusted in my care last fall.

I return your child a few pounds heavier, a few inches taller, months wiser, and more responsible.

Even though your child would have grown without my help, it has been an absolute privilege to see their personalities grow as we laid the foundation for future learning. Together, this year we have laughed, played, studied, learned, and enriched our lives.

I know you will continue to take care of your precious, now first grader, but please always remember that I will have a great interest in your child, their destinies; wherever they will go, whatever they will do, and whoever they will become.

Love,

Ms. Rau ♥

Popcorn Day!

Sink or Float Experiment! Popcorn kernels sunk! My prediction was incorrect.

Popping popcorn with Mrs. Smyth's class. We felt the heat, heard the loud noise, and smelt the wonderful smell.

Results from our taste test. Plain was their favorite!

Popcorn popping and all of the taste test flavors to the right.
