Week of 4/16

Important Items:

We Care Wednesday is April 18th- Earth Day is Sunday, April 22nd. In honor of this, Webber Student Council invites everyone to wear green and blue to represent the colors of the Earth. Monetary donations will be used to purchase a tree to be planted at Webber.

Pen and Pencil Drive-Student Council will be collecting new pens and pencils during the month of April to send to schools in Kenya. We appreciate your support!

Reminder that all snacks need to be TREE NUT FREE. This is more than just peanut free. Thank you! 

Learning This Week:
Readers will...

  • use everything they know to get the job done quickly

Writers will...
  • begin to write series books
  • learn the details that go into book 1 of a series
  • develop language in their stories
  • have a revision party
Mathematicians will...
  • look at attributes of squares and triangles
  • find equal shapes
  • compose 3-d shapes
  • make a picture using 2-d shapes
Scientists will continue to learn about light and shadows.

In social studies we will begin to learn about mapping.
