News for the week of 10/8

Notes from Ms. Rau:
  • Our Halloween Celebration will be Wednesday, October 31st from 8:30-9:30. Students should come to school dressed in their costume! We will begin our party first thing in the morning and it will be followed by our school wide Halloween parade at 9:45am. We will end our morning watching a Halloween movie. I am looking for one more parent volunteer to run our Bingo station. This involves reading the Halloween bingo cards and purchasing/passing out small prizes if you wish (i.e. pencils, pre packaged candy, stickers, tattoos, etc.)
  • If you are able to please send in a pair of headphones in a gallon size ziplock bag labeled with your child's name for them to use during our ipad time on Fridays from 1:30-2:00. We will be doing Raz-Kids on the ipads. Your child will keep their headphones in the top shelf of their locker until the end of the school year. Thank you!

    • remember to do something at the end of their book like retelling the story
